Like most stories, ours is the meeting of a Place, a Time, and a Person.

Once upon a time… there was a Place where a Person saw more than just small, parceled farmland. Piece by piece, he purchased parts of it, saying the time would come when something valuable and lasting could be created.

The PLACE is Lajoskomárom — nestled at the foot of the vineyard hills, on the edge of the Tolna region, among the gentle slopes of the Mezőföld.

The PERSON was my father. With his love for family and land, his perseverance and his dreams, he laid the path for the next person who could turn those dreams into reality. In this story, that person is me.

The TIME was between 2012 and 2015 — a vibrant period when dreams moved from plans to completion.

Why Lajoskomárom?
The answer is simple. Roots.
In my thoughts, it has always meant my home village. From our ancestors we inherited this deep connection to the land — and probably also the wings:
the openness to renewal, the longing for harmony, and the commitment to creating something meaningful.
With this purpose and inner conviction, my wife and I set out on this great journey.
We believed that by creating a refined environment, honoring the natural world around us, and committing ourselves to quality gastronomy,
we could become worthy companions among the great destinations of Hungarian tourism.

And so, Páskom Cottage**** was born — with its guest rooms, restaurant, sauna house, small garden pond, event space, and ever-green velvet lawn.

In the words of Áron Tamási: “We are in the world to be somewhere at home in it…”, so we have to make this place the best possible, to make the best use of its gifts!

We warmly recommend it to everyone who seeks rest, calm, and harmony after the hustle of everyday life.
To those who can hear the silence, and who — over a delicious meal and a glass of wine — may find their deeper “whys.”
